LGRVR Water Supply Corporation was created on November 20, 2018 upon approval by the Public Utility Commission of Texas of the transfer from Fall Creek Utility Company Inc. Fall Creek was an investor owned public utility owned by the Lake Granbury RV Ranch Property Owners Association. LGRVR is a member owned utility owned by the residents of Lake Granbury RV Ranch who are also the members of the POA.
We are run by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of seven (7) members from the community. We contract with a licensed operator who is responsible for the operation of the water and sewer treatment plants, and for the testing and treatment of water and waste water. We own our fresh water well that is located on the premises of Lake Granbury RV Ranch and the wastewater treatment plant that is located just outside the Ranch on LGRVR WSC property. We are regulated by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). And have an excellent record of water quality.
We also contract with 3rd party vendors for accounting/bookkeeping services and customer service and billing operations. Being a volunteer board these 3rd party services aid in keeping the day to day work of the board to a minimum. Most of our residents/customers are retired and travel quite a bit but we are able to include traveling board members in our quarterly meetings by using cell phones.
